We did lots of celebrating over the long holiday weekend, but we still managed to get in some relaxing at home. It was the perfect combination. Saturday the girls and I spent the whole day over at my parents' since Nathan had to work some.
Fiona wore a dress that I wore when I was her age.
She did lots of playing with magnets.
And watering stuff with the hose.
Mary looked thirsty.
And she did some streaking.
On Sunday, it rained all morning. We had planned on going to a little neighborhood parade, but instead we got to have a lazy morning at home together.
My Mom and I had made the girls matching dresses for the 4th. They looked so cute.
I love sister kisses!
We headed over to my parents' house again on Sunday night for dinner and some fireworks. We didn't stay too late because Fi was pretty tired and Calina did not like the loud noises. Papa bought Fiona a bunch of poppers. It took several tries, but she eventually got the hang of it.
